In order to keep members (who want to be) informed about upcoming WPC events, job opportunities and other WPC information and updates we send out a mass email to all members who have that option enabled. (There are over 2700 members who receive the WPC mass emails)
Emails go out from 1-5 times a month depending on how many events are being held.
If you are not receiving the emails and want to, all you have to do is to go into your member settings and under the "Notification Options" section just select the "Send me any updates sent by the board administrator" option.

Just a heads up that until now we've never done an invalid email address elimination. So, all of those email addresses that people have let go of over the years,that have expired or when they change from Shaw to MTS for example, those mails bounce back. We get over 200 bounce backs each time a mass email is sent out. So, all the accounts with invalid email addresses have now been set to guest status which just means that they also won't have access to the forums.

So if for any reason you are trying to login but receive the error message "guests do not have access to this area" please feel free to contact info@wpgphoto.com with a new valid email address and your account will be immediately reinstated.
